Miles and miles of well landscaped paths are conveniently located throughout the city. Enjoy tree lined trails at multiple park locations such as Peltier and Martin Luther King Park. Enjoy the scenic bayou as you make your way through the Civic Center Reservoir. Covered picnic areas, restrooms picnic tables, and pavilions are also available at several locations.

Fishing and Hunting |
Thibodaux is at the center of Louisiana's Sportsman's Paradise. Nearby fishing is some of the finest in the world with easy catches of bass, bream, sac-a-lait (crappie), redfish, speckled trout and more. A boat of medium size will get you to most locations but abundant roadside fising is readily available. Numerous fishing guide services are also availalbe.
Hunters will also find ample opportunities in the nearby area. Several state wildlife management areas allow hunting for various game.
