Nicholls State University is the educational hub for a seven parish area and provides over 60 areas of concentration including advanced degrees in Business, Psychology, Education, Mathematics and Biology. The picturesque campus is located on the banks of the beautiful Bayou Lafourche and offers access to learning, collegiate sports, theater, art, special events and more. It also houses an extensive walking track and has plans for the development of a new fitness center. The faculty is open and welcoming and deeply involved in the life of the community. The Continuting Education Department offers opportunities for non-credit learning. Nicholls also houses the Integenerational Center, a unique program that brings together kids and retirees in a postive and engaging environment.
